Chemnitz (dpa/sn) – The regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency announced the current unemployment figures for Saxony on Wednesday (10 a.m.). In October, the unemployment rate in Bavaria fell only slightly, namely from 5.8 percent in the previous month to 5.7 percent. 120,500 people without a job were registered.
The decline was thus smaller than usual at this time of year. The reason for the reluctance of the companies is the current economic uncertainty, it said.
The reference date for the current figures was November 14th.
