Ingolstadt (dpa / lby) – A drunk driver landed in Upper Bavaria with his car on the terrace of a residential building. The 31-year-old drove straight ahead at a junction in Ingolstadt in the night from Thursday to Friday, as the police announced on Friday. In doing so, he struck a guard rail and a tree before breaking through a concrete wall. The car only came to a stop on the terrace of the associated house. An alcohol test revealed two per thousand.

The 31-year-old driver behaved “uncooperatively” with the residents who were awakened by the accident. The driver even hit a 41-year-old in the face. The terrace was destroyed by the accident. The total damage was about 65,000 euros. Nobody got hurt. The driver is now being investigated for endangering road traffic and attempted bodily harm.
