Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – A month after the deadly shots on a street in Nuremberg, the police are still looking for a 28-year-old suspect. The public prosecutor’s office did not want to give details of the search on Thursday for reasons of investigative tactics.

The suspect is said to have shot at a 30-year-old and a 35-year-old on October 24 in front of a restaurant in the south of Nuremberg. The younger man died in hospital a short time later. According to the investigation, there had previously been a dispute between the men.

The police have now set up a special commission of around 40 people to find the suspected gunman. There is an arrest warrant against him. According to the public prosecutor’s office, further witnesses responded to the search call at the end of October. The interrogations were still ongoing, it said.
