Schwerin (dpa/mv) – The state government wants to exchange views with representatives of cities and communities at a municipal summit in Schwerin on Monday. “In these difficult times with the effects of the Ukraine war, close cooperation between the state and local authorities is of enormous importance,” said Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’s Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig (SPD). In addition to the chairman of the town and community association, Thomas Beyer, the chairman of the district association, Heiko Kärger, will also be guests. The event is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. in the local self-government building.
