Munich (dpa / lby) – A man in Munich threatened a 32-year-old and his father with a pistol. The 32-year-old appeared on Thursday evening in front of the father and son’s apartment. According to the current state of knowledge, he suspected that his ex-partner was in the apartment, the police said on Saturday.

During the ensuing argument, the man threatened the 57-year-old father of the alleged rival with a pistol. The 57-year-old then hit him with a frying pan. Father and son finally overpowered the attacker in front of the front door. A few shots from the alarm pistol were fired in the crowd. They called “almost a hundred emergency services” into action, according to a press spokesman for Munich’s police headquarters. The attacker is now being investigated for dangerous bodily harm. He is in custody.
