Leonberg (dpa / lsw) – Two people were hit by a car at a roundabout in Leonberg (Böblingen district) and seriously injured. The 79-year-old woman and the 83-year-old man crossed a street using a pedestrian crossing, police said on Saturday. At the same time, a car left the roundabout and hit the elderly. The 23-year-old driver of the car was unharmed on Friday afternoon. Rescue workers took the seriously injured pedestrians to nearby hospitals.
