Bad Liebenstein (dpa/th) – After the fire in a mountain rescue hut in the mountain village of Steinbach near Bad Liebenstein (Wartburg district), the police are looking for witnesses. Criminal police experts could have ruled out a technical cause for the fire, the police said on Friday. The investigators therefore assume that the fire was caused negligently or possibly intentionally. According to the information, the mountain rescue hut was destroyed in the fire on Wednesday morning, the damage is around 100,000 euros.
