Bickenbach (dpa / lhe) – With an alcohol level of more than three per mille, a driver caused a rear-end collision on the Autobahn 5 (Darmstadt-Dieburg district) on Wednesday evening. The 31-year-old was not only heavily intoxicated, but also did not have a driver’s license, as the police found. According to initial findings, the 31-year-old driver drove his car unbraked into a car ahead. Then his car crashed into the median barrier. Both drivers were slightly injured. The A5 was temporarily closed in the southern direction in the Birkenbach area.
