Learning accompanies people throughout their lives and the spectrum of educational opportunities is correspondingly diverse. A large consumer survey decided which educational providers are among Germany’s best.
Learning for children, school and studies, professional training through to special educational offers – all of this is taken into account by the German Education Award, which is celebrating its premiere this year and is being presented for the first time by the German Institute for Service Quality and ntv. Consumers were asked to rate institutions and companies in 38 categories and choose the most popular education providers.
In the survey, which was designed to be representative of the population, via an online panel, customer satisfaction with non-governmental training providers in the areas of price-performance ratio, range of offers and customer service was examined.
“The offer proved to be a guarantee for a high level of customer satisfaction. The willingness to recommend is also strikingly high: Around 82 percent of those surveyed chose a positive answer option,” says Markus Hamer, Managing Director of the German Institute for Service Quality.
Numerous individual aspects were taken into account, such as costs, performance, quality and benefits of the services/portals/products; Scope and range of offers, availability and reliability, contact options and responses to customer inquiries in terms of advisory skills and friendliness.
The overall result also included the willingness of consumers to recommend the product. Respondents were only able to rate one company in each category with which they had been in contact or whose service or product they had used in the last twelve months. 25,894 votes were received. Ratings were received from 337 providers; 256 companies and institutions that received at least 80 consumer opinions were included in the evaluation.
