25% of young people under 24 ensure they have received part or all of their salary in black during the last three years.
This is confirmed by the B-salaries report of the Infojobs Employment Portal.
The study is published on the occasion of the day of youth, on August 12, and tries to raise awareness about the problems faced by the new generations, the most affected by the pandemic of the Coronavirus.
Among the key conditions for collection in B emphasize that companies do not give another alternative and that low wages require employees to seek work in the submerged economy.
According to the study, 1 out of 5 Spanish would be willing to receive their salary in black, maintaining the trend regarding the results obtained the previous year.
The conclusions that are extracted from this study for reasons of gender, age, educational level and professional category are differential, but the common denominator is that more unemployed, greater possibility of receiving hidden income, and the predisposition to charge the salary in B is
Superior between the unemployed, where it reaches 35%.
Young people and women
The younger respondents, between 16 and 24, are the most willing to charge in B (40%);
Instead, only 14% of those over 45 and 65 years would accept this practice and 8% have received these income.
There is also a slight gender difference.
15% of women have perceived more than half of their salary in B, compared to 7% of men.
THE MOTIVES
The main reason for receiving this type of income alludes is that the company does not give them another option (50%), many times when segmenting by ages, occupation, at work level and by level of studies.
The second plea that cites 29% of respondents is the need to complete their salary, while 12% aimed not to want to pay disproportionate taxes and 6% points out not wanting to lose the unemployment benefit.
On the other hand, it is relevant that 35% of the autonomous asserts that it charges in B because it does not want to pay taxes, since it considers them abusive;
A percentage 23 percentage points higher than average.
The educational level
Those who have unregulated training are more willing to perceive a salary in B (33%) than those who have only studied basic studies (28%).
Likewise, this percentage descends up to 19% in those professionals with university or superior studies.
16% of respondents with unronded studies claims to have charged a part of their income in the last three years.
A percentage that falls to half in workers with superior or university training.
Even, 27% of respondents occupy management charges are open to receiving a part of their salary in B (27%).
The main reason that indicate is that they need to complete their salary (almost 30% of them affirms it).
By autonomous communities
The Andalusians are the most arranged Spaniards to charge in B (24%).
Andalusia is one of the communities with higher unemployment rates (22.5%) and this may precisely involve this trend of workers in the region, as aimed at the study.
On the opposite side, the Basque Country is situated, one of the autonomous communities in which the lower predisposition there is when accepting a salary in ‘B’ (19%), followed by the Community of Madrid.
