The crash occurred Saturday roughly 35 miles (55 km ) south of Montgomery on Interstate 65 later vehicles probably hydroplaned on wet streets, said Butler County Coroner Wayne Garlock.

“That is the worst tragedy I have been part of in my entire life,” said Smith, who drove Sunday into the ranch to speak to the rest inhabitants, who’d returned in Gulf Shores at another van and didn’t find the mess.
“Words can’t explain what I saw,” Smith said of the crash site, which he seen Saturday. “We love those women like they are our very own kids.”
The crash claimed the lives of 2 people that were in another car.
“He was a fantastic man and we are actually gont miss him,” explained Aaron Sanders, who worked with Fox in the crisis management agency at Marion County. He said Fox also conducted a spa business with his dad and doted on his daughter. “He loved her to death which has been his life”
Numerous people were injured.

The Tallapoosa County school program said counselors are available Sunday in the 225-student Reeltown High School, where a number of the ranch inhabitants were pupils. Smith reported the ranch, that will be Christian-based, would probably have a memorial ceremony after, asking for prayers because he started to shout.
