Anonymous bronze bust appears under the hood of a sweatshirt with Bitcoin symbol.
It is the tribute inaugurated on Thursday in Budapest to Satoshi Nakamoto, the nickname of the mysterious inventor of this cryptomon.

The sculpture is located in a technology technology park open to the public, where the effigy of the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, and an installation of Erno Rubik, the Hungarian Inventor of the famous bucket of colors is also exposed.

It was Andras Gyorfi, a journalist specialized in cryptomones, who had the idea of erecting a statue in honor of Nakamoto and the “Internet of Internet”.

“In March, I researched over the links between digital art and Blockchain”, a decentralized and protected technology of information and transmission of information on which the cryptomoneds are based, explained this 38-year-old businessman.

“And I said: Why does not Saturday have the right to his statue in Budapest?” He continued, defining the mysterious man as “an emblematic figure” that transformed finances.

To save the anonymity of the creator of Bitcóin, the sculptors designed a face with a mirror appearance in which “anyone can be recognized”.

The initiative, presented as “unpublished”, was financed by four Hungarian companies in the sector.

Born after the financial crisis of 2008, this cryptomoneda initially promoted a libertarian ideal and aspired to grab traditional monetary and financial institutions.

On October 31, 2008, the White Paper of the Founder after the pseudonym of Satoshi Nakamoto was published on the Internet.
Thirteen years later, the identity of him is still an unknown.

In the eight-page document, Nakamoto defines the base of its cryptomoned: “make online payments directly from one third to another without going through a financial institution.”

On January 3, 2009, the first block was created, which generated 50 Bitcóins.

Numerous cryptomoneds have been born since then, with more than 11,000 in the market, according to the specialized website coinmarketcap.

At the beginning of September, El Salvador became the first country in the world to introduce Bitcóin as a legal currency.
