A 64-year-old paraglider fell about six meters on Monday, June 6, while he was in the town of Saint-Jean-de-Montclar in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Around 2:20 p.m., the Jausiers high-mountain gendarmerie platoon PGHM 04 was alerted.

The injured man was being treated by two rescuers and an ANMSM doctor (National Association of Mountain Physicians and Rescuers). He was experiencing lumbar and cervical pain. Paraglider was flown to Digne-les-Bains Hospital Center.
