Four members of the far-right group Proud Boys, including its boss, Enrique Tarrio, involved in the assault on the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, have been convicted of “sedition,” US media reported.
They were tried by a court in Washington for having stormed the headquarters of Congress along with other supporters of former Republican President Donald Trump when lawmakers were preparing to certify the victory of Democrat Joe Biden in the presidential elections.
