Our Parisian colleagues revealed that a 20-year-old man was arrested for planning a mass murder and was indicted Friday night.

He was a fan of Hitler, as indicated by his nickname on encrypted messaging “HenrichHimmler88”, and was taken into custody at his Ardeche home.

Friday evening, after his police custody was over, he was brought before an anti-terrorism judge in Paris. He indicted him on Friday for “individual terrorist organization”. He was taken into custody.

DGSI agents had spotted this disturbing profile on the internet. He is also part of neoNazi groups via Telegram, a secure messaging app. The National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor’s Office, (Pnat), opened a preliminary investigation on April 22.

He was arrested after a “cyber infiltration” and a surveillance phase.

Investigators believe that the Ardeche resident planned to carry out a violent act with a firearm. The targets could include students at a high school or members of the Jewish community.

Investigators found a Nazi flag, swastikas and other items at his home.
