Neuhausen auf den Fildern (dpa / lsw) – A 14-year-old fled from the police in a car at a speed of about 100 kilometers per hour. The teenager was driving his parents’ car on Thursday night in Neuhausen auf den Fildern (Esslingen district), according to the police. Because an initially unknown passenger jumped out of the moving car and ran away, the officers became aware of the car.
The driver then accelerated the car to around 100 kilometers per hour in town and ignored the stop signals from the police patrol. The teenager lost control of the car on a slippery road and crashed into a curb. Nobody was injured. The 14-year-old must now face the consequences of juvenile criminal law, said a police spokesman on Thursday.
