Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – A 39-year-old man is said to have killed his mother with a knife in Freiburg. The suspect was arrested on Tuesday, the prosecutor’s office and the police announced on Wednesday. The 78-year-old was found dead in her apartment.
After a medical examination, the suspect was taken to a psychiatric hospital. The German should now be brought before a magistrate. The background to the bloody deed initially remained open. The police are investigating, the statement said.
