Backnang (dpa / lsw) – Two men were seriously injured in a head-on collision between two cars on the 1115 country road between Backnang and Großbottwar near Stuttgart. A man drove his vehicle into oncoming traffic for reasons that are not yet clear, the police said on Friday. The 58-year-old who caused the accident and the 62-year-old driver of the car involved were freed from their vehicles by the fire department. They were taken to hospitals. There were four children in the 62-year-old’s vehicle, all of whom were unharmed.
