Gerstetten (dpa / lsw) – Two people were seriously injured in an accident in the Heidenheim district. A 25-year-old driver left the road in Gerstetten due to excessive speed on Monday evening, crashed into a street lamp and ended up in the garden of a house, the police said. Both he and the 36-year-old passenger were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The damage to the car was estimated at around 10,000 euros, according to the police.
