A 21-year-old driver got into an argument with his 17-year-old passenger on Saturday night while driving. According to the police on Monday, the young woman hit the driver twice in the face, after which he is said to have lost control of the car. The car collided with a parked car. The force of the impact pushed the stationary vehicle onto another car.
According to the information, the officers smelled that the driver was drunk and had reddened face. A test showed 1.2 per thousand alcohol in the blood. His passenger was apparently not wearing a seat belt and suffered multiple head injuries in the accident and was taken to the hospital. Both are now being investigated because of the dangerous intervention in road traffic – against the 21-year-old because he is said to have caused an accident under the influence of alcohol. And against the 17-year-old because she may have contributed to the accident because of the beating. She also faces charges of assault.
