Ertingen (dpa / lsw) – A fire in two barns in Tübingen caused property damage of around 300,000 euros. What caused the fire on Sunday is still unclear, the police said on Monday. The barns were attached to a house in Ertingen (Biberach district). An excavator had to demolish the burned remains to protect the building next to it. The fire brigade was able to remove the embers.
In the barns were a vehicle and an old refrigerator. Straw and wood were also stored there. Whether a technical defect in the refrigerator caused the fire has yet to be determined. Nobody was injured in the fire.
