Karlsruhe (dpa/lsw) – In order to encourage their residents to save energy, seven cities in northern and central Baden, together with their municipal utilities, are launching a large-scale campaign. In addition to online and on-site advice, posters and video tutorials, for example, thousands of schoolchildren should also become energy-saving ambassadors in their families, as Iman El Sonbaty from the Karlsruher Stadtwerke said on Wednesday.
The motto of the campaign is
By joining forces, there are no different savings targets and the exchange of ideas is going better, explained Mentrup. The fact that smaller and larger cities work together makes it clear, according to Bruchsal town hall chief Cornelia Petzold-Schick (independent), that the number of inhabitants does not play a role in the issue.
