Ehningen (dpa/lsw) – In the 2021/2022 financial year (until September 30), the engineering service provider Bertrandt benefited from increasing business with the automotive industry. Sales increased by 19 percent to 1 billion euros, as the company announced on Thursday in Ehningen (Boeblingen district). The normalizing macroeconomic conditions led to an improved mood in the automotive industry, which was reflected in increased project awards and rising capacity utilization.
The bottom line profit grew by 206 percent to 21.1 million euros. At the end of September, the listed medium-sized company employed 13,179 men and women (previous year: 12,030). Porsche holds a 28.97 percent stake in the development service provider as the largest shareholder. The emissions specialist Boysen holds 14.9 percent of the shares.
