Heidelberg (dpa / lsw) – A 32-year-old was seriously injured after he crashed his car into a tree in Heidelberg and the car caught fire as a result. Whether the injuries were caused by the impact or the fire is initially unclear, a police spokesman said on Tuesday. The man had lost control on Monday evening because of his high speed in a curve. First responders rescued the 32-year-old from the burning car, which burned out completely. He came to a hospital.
