Heidenheim (dpa / lsw) – Central defender Oliver Hüsing is leaving 1. FC Heidenheim after three years. The 29-year-old did not accept the offer to extend his contract, which expires on June 30, for economic reasons, the second division soccer club announced on Tuesday. Hüsing moved to Heidenheim from the then third division team Hansa Rostock in 2019. According to earlier media reports, today’s second division competitor is said to be interested in Hüsing’s return. The defender played 80 competitive games for FCH and scored four goals.
