Rheinau (dpa / lsw) – Four people were seriously injured in an accident in Rheinau (Ortenaukreis). A 51-year-old van driver probably got into the opposite lane on Thursday morning, the police reported. There he collided with the car of a 31-year-old who was traveling with a 52-year-old passenger. Then there was a collision between the van and the car of a 56-year-old.
The 51-year-old was trapped. Police say all four of those involved were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
