Mannheim (dpa / lsw) – Marco Höger will be missing from the third division soccer team SV Waldhof Mannheim for a long time. The midfielder tore a cruciate ligament in a duel in training, the sixth-placed player announced on his social media channels on Monday. Höger made seven appearances for Mannheim this season. The 33-year-old former Bundesliga professional was recently absent due to a red suspension.
