Constance (dpa/lsw) – Customs officials discovered a valuable mandolin during a check last Saturday in Constance. The 50-year-old musical instrument had been brought from Switzerland to Germany without registration, as the main customs office in Singen announced on Wednesday. A 49-year-old probably wanted to sell the 3,000-euro mandolin and have it shipped to Germany. Criminal tax proceedings were initiated against the man.
