Sigmaringen (dpa / lsw) – A person was injured in a dispute between two residents in the state initial reception center for refugees in Sigmaringen. A man was arrested, police said on Wednesday.

Other people showed solidarity with the two quarrels in the course of their conflict on Tuesday evening. When officials arrived at the site, 100 people were standing in the open area, the mood was reportedly aggressive. Police discovered a 27-year-old man who was stabbed in the upper arm. A 44-year-old man who was seen by security officers wielding a knife in a crowd has been arrested. Whether the knife and the man had anything to do with the injury has yet to be clarified. The police are investigating him for serious breach of the peace.

It will be clear after the end of the investigation to how many participants the preliminary investigation may have to be extended to.
