In the past two days, Eurowings customers in the southwest have had to track their flight status with anxiety. At the end of the pilots’ strike at Eurowings, there will be another big one on Wednesday.
Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – At the end of the three-day strike at Eurowings, passengers from Stuttgart have to be prepared for dozens of cancellations on Wednesday. According to the airport, 54 of the 88 planned flights will be cancelled. In the two previous days, more than 100 failed connections had thrown people’s travel plans upside down, and more than half of the planned flights had been cancelled.
An airport spokeswoman said there could still be isolated strike effects on Thursday, for example if machines or crews are not yet where they should be. However, normal operation should be achieved quickly. She recommended that passengers find out about the status of their flight in advance on Wednesday and Thursday.
