Mannheim (dpa / lsw) – National ice hockey striker Tim Wohlgemuth will miss the Adler Mannheim for around four weeks. The 23-year-old sustained an unspecified injury to his torso in the 3-4 penalty shoot-out against Eisbären Berlin last Sunday. Sports manager Jan-Axel Alavaara regretted the loss in a club statement on Wednesday because Wohlgemuth had shown “excellent performances in the most recent games”. The Eagles are second in the table in the German Ice Hockey League and will play at the Bietigheim Steelers on Friday.
