Albstadt (dpa / lsw) – A five-year-old died one day after a swimming accident in a leisure pool in Albstadt (Zollernalbkreis). A bather noticed the motionless child on Thursday afternoon and took it out of the pool, the police said. First responders, lifeguards and a pediatrician who happened to be nearby resuscitated the child. A helicopter took the girl to a hospital, where she died on Friday afternoon. The Balingen Criminal Police Office has started the investigation.
