Ellwangen (dpa / lsw) – A 57-year-old forest worker had a fatal accident on Wednesday afternoon in an area near Ellwangen (Ostalbkreis) while cutting down trees. The man was hit by a spruce tree about 30 meters tall and later died in the hospital, the police said. It was initially unclear how the accident could have happened. The officers have started the investigation.
