Heidelberg/Mannheim (dpa/lsw) – The basketball players of the MLP Academics Heidelberg are moving for the duel in the Bundesliga with FC Bayern Munich. For the first time in history, the Kurpfälzer are playing a game in the SAP Arena in Mannheim, as the club announced on Monday. The game is scheduled for December 27 (8:30 p.m.). For every ticket sold, one euro is to be donated to the “Courage” foundation to support chronically ill children. “Playing against a Euroleague playoff team in a big arena is something every coach and player dreams of,” said Heidelberg’s new coach Joonas Iisalo.
