Göppingen (dpa / lsw) – Bundesliga handball team Frisch Auf Göppingen is planning to work with Danish national player Tobias Ellebaek beyond this season. The contract with the 30-year-old backcourt player had been extended until the summer of 2024, the club announced on Wednesday. The 1.93 meter tall Ellebaek came to Göppingen in 2020 from the Danish top club Aalborg HB. “Tobias Ellebaek fits into our team both as a player and as a person. He can be used flexibly in the backcourt and always takes responsibility in difficult phases,” said Göppingen’s sporting director Christian Schöne.
