Friedrichshafen (dpa / lsw) – Four people were seriously injured in a head-on collision between two cars in poor visibility on an exit of the federal highway 31 near Friedrichshafen (Bodenseekreis). Because she lost her orientation due to heavy fog and misjudged the course of the color, a 19-year-old driver initially ignored the right of way at the end of the exit, according to the police.
Then, late on Sunday evening, she drove unbraked into the junction with a country road. When she recognized the dangerous situation, she gave in, according to the police, and got her car into the opposite lane. There was a head-on collision with the oncoming car of a 28-year-old.
The 28-year-old and the 19-year-old driver and their two 22-year-old passengers were seriously injured in the accident. They were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance.
