Emmendingen (dpa / lsw) – On Tuesday night, a fire in an unoccupied house in Emmendingen caused a lot of damage. As the police announced on Tuesday, the fire was probably caused by a technical defect in an electric line. There is currently no evidence of arson. During the extinguishing work, the flames are said to have hit up to ten meters from the roof. There was a temporary power outage in parts of the neighborhood. Officials estimate the damage is in the six-figure range.
