Bodnegg (dpa / lsw) – A runaway horse was hit by a car on a country road in the Ravensburg district. As the police announced on Thursday, the animal was lucky: it was unharmed in the collision on Wednesday evening.
The animal had previously escaped from a paddock with four other horses and then ran down a country road with one of them. After colliding with a motorist there, the horse ran away. According to the police, several horse stable operators and some volunteers helped to recapture all five escaped horses during the night.
