Baden-Baden (dpa/lsw) – Energy crisis, Corona, digitization and climate change: The municipalities, cities and districts in the south-west are facing many challenges these days. In order to promote exchange, the Savings Banks Association of Baden-Württemberg invites you to the municipal forum in the Kongresshaus in Baden-Baden once a year. Around 500 municipal representatives are to meet on Wednesday (from 9 a.m.) under the motto “Municipality in transition – courage to change”. The focus should be on the digital future and new forms of citizen proximity.

Among other things, statements are expected from the President of the Municipal Council, Steffen Jäger, and the President of the Savings Banks Association of Baden-Württemberg, Peter Schneider. The Human Resources Director at Porsche AG, Andreas Haffner, is to provide insights into how the car manufacturer is shaping changes and taking the employees with them. According to the announcement, science writer Ranga Yogeshwar will cover a wide range of topics such as society being in transition and learning how to deal with new things.
