Feldberg (dpa/lsw) – Despite the warm March and a rainy Christmas season, the Feldberg lift association closed the 2021/2022 ski season with record numbers and almost doubled sales compared to the season two years ago. The pre-season was completely canceled due to Corona. With more than nine million euros, one is even 14 percent above the previous record winter of 2017/18, said the chairman of the lift association, Johannes Albrecht, on Tuesday. The leap in sales had already been expected at the end of March, but the exact figures were not yet available.
According to the information, the good figures are also due to the fact that almost nine percent more guests came to the slopes compared to the 2019/2020 season. In addition, the price structure has been fundamentally redesigned – for example, a certain guest card that used to allow skiers to use the lift free of charge has been abolished.
