Dornstetten (dpa / lsw) – Because he is said to have driven the car drunk to the Dornstetten police station (Freudenstadt district), a man has now lost his driver’s license. According to a preliminary alcohol test, he had two per thousand alcohol in his blood, the police said on Tuesday. The man appeared at the police station on Monday for an appointment and reportedly smelled of alcohol. The officials there recognized him because he is said to have met them shortly before in traffic at the wheel of his car. He had to give a blood sample and his driver’s license was confiscated. He is being investigated on suspicion of drunk driving.
