Öhringen (dpa / lsw) – A motorcyclist was caught with 100 kilometers per hour too much on the speedometer and without a driver’s license. The 37-year-old raced on Wednesday at 200 kilometers per hour on the state road near Öhringen (Hohenlohe district), as the police announced on Thursday.

The officers followed the man in a civilian vehicle and finally checked him after a short chase. The officers found that the man had never had a motorcycle driver’s license. His driver’s license was taken away from him 19 years ago. It was checked whether the man’s motorcycle could be confiscated.
