Gaggenau (dpa / lsw) – In Gaggenau in the Rastatt district, there was a large-scale power failure on Sunday night. Due to a technical defect in a switchgear, the entire city area was affected by the power failure, the police said. Network operator technicians were able to identify the cause and worked until the wee hours to eliminate it. The final repair of the disturbance is not expected until the morning hours, it said. Around 30,000 people live in Gaggenau. A police spokesman said he was not yet able to give an exact number of people affected, but it could be assumed that all residents of the city were affected.
