Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – A 31-year-old defendant who was involved in several road blockades in Freiburg in February has been acquitted. As a spokesman for the local district court announced on Monday, the climate activist was not stuck. He allowed himself to be carried away and was described by the police as cooperative and peaceful. The man was on trial on three counts of coercion. The accused had been accused of taking part in three blockades in the Black Forest metropolis from February 7 to 15 with other demonstrators from the “Last Generation” movement. According to the spokesman, the verdict is not yet final.
