Villingen-Schwenningen (dpa/lsw) – Sebastian Uvira is moving from the Kölner Haien to the Schwenninger Wild Wings within the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). The 29-year-old striker has signed a three-year contract, his new club announced on Monday.

“In addition to his physique, he also has great qualities in terms of playing and running,” said Schwenningen’s head coach Harold Kreis. Born in Freiburg, Uvira was on the ice in 48 main round games for Cologne last season, scoring eleven goals and providing ten assists. With the national team, Uvira took part in the 2018 World Cup in Denmark.
