Esslingen (dpa / lsw) – After a shootout in Esslingen at the beginning of September, a second suspect is now in custody. Like an accomplice of the same age before him, the 21-year-old man is suspected of attempted murder. According to the police on Wednesday, the second suspect was arrested on Tuesday and his apartment was searched. Among other things, the police confiscated a telescopic baton and a pistol magazine, which are prohibited under the Weapons Act. The man is known to the police. Investigations into other accomplices and also into the alleged opponents are underway.

At the beginning of September, witnesses in Esslingen heard shots. Police found projectiles at the scene. Those involved, who were unharmed according to previous knowledge, had fled.
