Dauchingen (dpa / lsw) – A 29-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident involving several vehicles on the federal highway 523 near Dauchingen (Schwarzwald-Baar district). As the police announced early Thursday morning, a 38-year-old driver overtook several vehicles, so that an oncoming 44-year-old braked hard to prevent a collision. Behind the 44-year-old drove another car and a motorcycle. Both failed to stop, they drove into the 44-year-old’s car. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The 44-year-old escaped with minor injuries; all other participants remained unharmed.
