Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – Unknown persons broke into a total of eight apartments in Stuttgart in one day. In another burglary attempt on Saturday in a ninth apartment, two men failed, the police said on Sunday. A resident just coming home caught her in the act. The two men fled, were followed by a witness but managed to escape. It was not known whether they were responsible for the entire series of burglaries. During the burglary, the perpetrators stole cash and valuables totaling tens of thousands of euros.
