Karlsruhe (dpa/lsw) – shock news for Karlsruher SC: central defender Daniel O’Shaughnessy broke his left fibula on Saturday in the defeat of the Finnish national team in Romania (0: 1) and will be with the second division football team for a long time absence. This was confirmed by KSC team doctor Marcus Schweizer on Sunday morning before the start of training for the Karlsruhe team. “That means he’ll be out for at least six weeks to three months,” he predicted. The 27-year-old Finn only moved from HJK Helsinki to Baden at the beginning of the year. Since then he has scored one goal in twelve second division games.
