Vörstetten (dpa / lsw) – A fire in a residential building in the Emmendingen district caused damage in the low six-digit range. The police are investigating according to their own information on Friday because of arson. The fire broke out on Wednesday evening in a pile of wood stored outside. The flames then spread to two carports and the roof of an adjacent residential building in Vörstetten. The occupants of the house were able to escape by themselves. No one was injured in the fire, according to police.
